Winter Wonderland

Fort Worth has given our family a healthy dose of Winter Wonderland! Living in Austin, we were not used to this type of weather. It has been quite a treat exposing Landon to the snow and watching his reaction...
This is actually a rare smile....he didn't care for the snow :( I think he just doesn't like to be bundled up, he can't stand the loss of dexterity when his gloves are on. He is constantly trying to pull them off. Daddy and Landon out front of the new house, getting ready to go on a snowy adventure! Our new place is perfect for us: cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bath, one living space with an eat in kitchen. It has a decent size back yard as well, enough for Landon and the dogs to play.
Not getting regular exposure to snow, we didn't have a sled....the next best thing was the wagon! This is a shot of our snow-covered back yard. We have a small covered porch, fenced yard and huge shed (great for storage!)
The city of Benbrook is near an Air Force base, so we often see airplanes flying over head. He can't say airplane yet, but every time one flies by Landon points to the sky!
He was not pleased to find he couldn't push his trucks and cars through the snow.
Daddy's turn for a ride around the yard. We'll see how long this Winter Wonderland lasts....
