I apologize for the extremely delayed entry...we have experienced some recent changes and have been taking time to assimilate. We said goodbye to Austin and hello to Fort Worth! We are TCU Horned Frogs for the next 3 years while Scott completes his Doctorate in Nursing Anesthesia. We are loving Fort Worth and truly enjoying the "cowboy town."
Fort Worth is of course known for it's rodeos and rodeo clowns...
...cattle and cowgirls!
The Stockyards in Fort Worth are a living example of the historic Texas cowboy lifestyle. Every day down this street, through the middle of the Stockyards, a real-live cattle drive takes place.
Also in the Stockyards are cobble-stone streets, shops offering cowboy fair and of course Texas BBQ! We are very excited to be starting this next adventure in our lives and happy to be doing it in Fort Worth, where we are close to family and friends. We'll keep you posted on Scott's life as a grad student, my new role as a working mom and Landon's transition into preschool! Life is good!
