Oh Pheeber...

Oh Phoebe, Phoebe Kate, Phoebe girl, Pheebes, Pheeber, Pheeber Beeber...
We love you.  You're 11 months now, going on two years! You've been in 12 month clothes for the last 4 months and are now moving up to 18 months.  You have really grown attached to stuffed animals lately.  You carried around this stuffed pig the entire time we were at the library and when it was time to go I had to pry it from your fingers.
Now that you're an expert crawler....and beginner walker...you get into everything, including mommy's closet.  Definitely time for cabinet locks!  You started taking steps last month, but can now pretty much walk where ever and as far as you like.  You still prefer to crawl at times to get around more quickly, but you're definitely capable of becoming a biped.
You recently discovered your own nose and got a kick out of sticking your finger up there.  I thought it was funny too, until you wanted to explore my nose as well!  You're very curious and inquisitive, you love to read books.  Just today we were looking at a picture of shoes in one of your favorite books....you pointed to the page and then to my shoes.  You're brilliant already! :)

We love you monkey!

Life according to iPhone pictures

 Phoebe, almost walking!
Bundled up for an evening walk.
I love seeing them like this :)
Ya, that's right, they're super cool!
 Best bed-head ever!
How big is Phoebe?  So big!

Taking a road trip down to Boerne.
Landon takes watching Thomas the Tank Engine very seriously.
 Trying out a new hair-do.....or don't :)
Oshkosh lasts forever, or at least 33 years..these were my overalls.
Oh ya, Phoebe can feed herself.
Puppy, play with me!  Kid, play with me!
Oh my gosh, I adore this face.
 And these faces...holy look-alike :)
My babies...so rare that they'll both sit still long enough for this!
I love Costco carts!

We got a Jeep!

I loved the Suburban.  It was the best car I'd ever owned...not that I've owned that many, but it was definitely my favorite.  Unfortunately, at 13 years old and 175,000 miles she just wasn't cutting it any more.  Since she was paid off, we'd really hoped she'd last until Scott finished school.  No such luck.  So we traded in the Suburban for a Jeep Rubicon.  Scott drives the Jeep and now I drive the truck.  I'm pretty happy with the way it's all worked out!

Since Daddy put a lift kit on the Jeep, he had to put a lift kit on his bike.  I love that he is so interested in help Dad fix things and learning how things work.
The first thing Landon wanted to do was go "shock crawling!" (rock crawling)  That weekend we went to a local off-road park and put this baby in 4-wheel drive!

Check out that stud in the back seat :)
Landon was in heaven.

Got some good war paint, it was a good day.
