Watch out world...

...here I come!
During our trip to California, Landon became a new man. He was all smiles, all the time. Through all the craziness: a 12 hour day of graduation, time changes, endless play dates, relative visits and LA traffic-he was a champ!
Landon and Mommy are BFF. I think he enjoyed all the attention; people constantly playing with him, acting silly and trying to make him laugh. He was a ham and ate up every second.
Uncle Brian, Mommy and Uncle Steve trying to make Landon laugh.

by the way...

I have 2 teeth now!

Lots of new friends

We stayed busy the entire week we were in California, coming and going, graduations, parties, play dates.....
Landon met one of his cousins for the first time during our trip. Kendra is not quite a year older than Landon and very generously loaned Landon her old "baby" toys she doesn't use any more.
Both kids a little intimidated by the large audience watching their every adorable move! This is Landon and Ciaran. He is the son of a girl I went to Elementary School with! Coincidentally, she was pregnant at the same time as me and our due dates were a day apart. Of course Landon came a little early, but the boys seem to be pretty much the same size. Although Ciaran is already crawling and cruising, Landon kept up with him.
This is Landon trying to steal Ciaran's pacifier....Ciaran wasn't too amused.

Congratulations Uncle Brian!

Landon experienced his first plane ride last week! I was very impressed, he did wonderfully. (I think the Benadryl probably helped! Pediatrician approved, of course!) Our trip was to California to watch my youngest brother Brian graduate from USC Dental School. Brian is actually a 3rd generation USC Dental School graduate-after my great uncle Art and my father. As a legacy, my father was included in the graduation ceremony-he placed the hood over Brian's gown and walked across the stage with him to get his diploma. It was an awesome moment for our family!
Landon was decked out in his USC Trojan gear to support Uncle Brian.
A very proud family-my father, myself, Brian the graduate, my mother, my brother Steve. Did I mention Landon was excited to be there?!

Austin Children's Museum

Cayden, the son of our good friends Carson and Lara, turned 4 years old today. We celebrated by having a party at the Austin Children's Museum. This was the first time Landon and I had been to the museum and it was awesome. There were tons of activities for the kids to play with, including a fenced off toddler area.
This is Carson and Landon playing with the balls and air vents. Landon got a kick out of watching the balls fly up into the air, then grabbing them.
Getting ready to sing "Happy Birthday" with the 40+ other guests. Landon seemed to be ok with the lots of people singing loudly.....good news because his birthday is just 2 months away! Playing in the toddler area. Much more low key away from the very energetic older kids!
