Fort Worth Botanical Garden

Although it's only April, we've had some pretty warm days already....I hope not foreshadowing of an uncomfortable summer....but today was beautiful! The sky was slightly grey, there was a cool breeze, and the temperature hovered around 70 degrees all day. We love taking advantage of the outdoors on days like this, so we headed to the Botanical Gardens.
It was amazing! We were there for a while and didn't even see a fraction of it. There are multiple different garden areas with themed landscapes and flora.
Landon has become this curious, inquisitive, energetic little man. It's been a facinating, marvelous thing to watch this, sometimes whiney, little tyke become a strong, mature toddler. He ran through the gardens the entire time we were there, exploring different flowers and leafs.
He had to smell almost EVERY flower, a time consuming process. We finished off our outdoor afternoon with a family dinner out. I had to say, it was a good day.

Red Neck Dude

We saw this truck in the parking lot of the grocery store the other day. I thought with his hair done up in a rooster tail......
....and the monster truck on his shirt, it was just too perfect a' coincidence to pass up!

A New Love

Now that the weather is getting warmer, we've been indulging is cool treats....POPSICLES!
Landon will no longer take licks off of your Popsicle, he's a big boy and wants his OWN Popsicle! He does a great job, he eats the whole thing...up until the last, melted piece falls to the ground...then Felicia eats it :)
