Catch up time!

After some technical difficulties...and some procrastination, let's be honest...I'm back!  Needless to say, I've got a lot of catching up to do.  We spent the summer at Grammie and Grampy's pool, since it was too hot to do anything else!

Although hesitant at first, they both became very comfortable in the water.  But more comfortable with snack time.  Landon took swim lessons and was diving to the bottom of the pool for rings by the end of the summer.  I was so proud of him!

This picture was at the beginning of the summer, as you can clearly tell by our glaringly white skin ;)

The apartment complex surprised us with Popsicles this afternoon.  I tried to share mine with Phoebe, but she was NOT having it!  She's a big girl and had to have her own!

My mom brought me some boxes from her house in California that were packed with memories from high school and college.  There were two boxes dedicated to doll clothes and cabbage patch kids.  Phoebe had a field day!  She couldn't decide which doll to feed, so she lined them up and fed them all!

Phoebe also made a few new friends this summer.  She stood and held hands with this mannequin at Old Navy for a solid 5 minutes straight, it was hilarious!

Landon was invited to a birthday party at the zoo, what a cool idea!  The kids went to a special party room where they were able to see a handful of animals up close, have cake and best of all....roam the zoo for the afternoon after the party! 

Daddy was with Phoebe, so I spent the afternoon with my handsome man!
