Each year our town has a Heritage Festival at a local park, filled with lots of booths, games, food and entertainment. This year, Landon and I went alone while Daddy stayed at home with a napping Phoebe.
Landon got to throw a few softballs at the Benbrook Police Department Dunk Tank.
He didn't hit the red disc, but a police officer lifted him up so he could push it and dunk the other officer!

We waiting in a long line so he could have a turn to ride the mechanical bull...
....after sitting up there for about 30 seconds, he made his own dramatic fall without even being thrown off. I think he was more interested in the fall, than the ride!
There was a descent size area sectioned off as a petting zoo. Landon got to pet bunnies...

and even chickens!
We had yummy home made tamales and lemonade for lunch! Fun day!
