We were invited over to a friend's house for a kids Halloween party last night. It was the perfect house because they had a huge backyard with a swing set and lots of room for the kids to run around.
Although my girl friend had plenty of cute Halloween games for the kids to play, of course all Landon wanted were trucks and tractors!
After games and dinner, all the kids got ready for a trick-or-treat parade around the neighborhood...
....Initially it seemed like Landon was going to make it....
....but no such luck. It was already 7:45pm (bedtime is 8:00pm) and Landon was asking to go to bed. I guess I can't ignore that cue! We had already trick-or-treated at the Trunk-or-Treat party at church, so it was okay that we didn't make it out last night. Not to mention, I don't think Landon really "gets" the whole Halloween thing yet. Maybe next year :)
It was a great party though!
