Since it's so hot here, outdoor activities aren't very practical. So, we try to search for creative things to do with Landon on the weekends. We were house-sitting for some family friends this past weekend up in Dallas and decided to visit the nearby Bass Pro Shop. This may initially sound kind of silly, but there are actually a lot of things to occupy a 2 year old at a Bass Pro Shop. They have a huge water fall in the middle of the store that cascades down into an aquarium, with plenty of fish to check out.
Tons of stuffed game mounted all over the store. Mostly deer, with the occasional Kodak bear!
And of course Landon's favorite, the 4 Wheelers! He ran around this entire area yelling "UP, UP" wanting to try out each and every one!
There were even 2 seaters, perfect for father and son! A wonderful Sunday outing, without a single dollar spent ;)
