Landon loves being in the tub, so I had a feeling he would like the pool....I was right! He has his first swim lesson last week and had a great time. The Kyle Community Pool is right down the road and offers a parent/toddler class. It is twice a week for 30 minutes throughout the month of June.
The water was cold so I was afraid he wasn't going to like it, but he jumped right in and started splashing. We practicing kicking on our stomachs and backs, even going under water! Landon was the only kid who didn't cry when we went under! Such a strong, brave boy!
After the lesson, the instructor put a bunch of toys in the water for the kids to play with, rings and rubber duckies. She wanted us to get the kids to associate having fun with being in the water.
We were so happy Daddy could come to our first lesson....we needed someone to take pictures and video ;)
Very cool! Good to hear that he is not afraid of the water at all--look at him showing up all of the other kids! His birthday is coming up, isn't it?? xoxo
