Dinosaur Park

Yesterday Scott took his last test before Spring Break, so we decided to spend some much needed family time together.
We took Landon out to Glen Rose, about an hour away, where there is a Dinosaur Park.
How ever many million years ago...Glen Rose used to sit on the edge of an ocean, apparently a favorite spot for dinosaurs to travel through, live, eat and drink. Thus, there are tons of dinosaur fossils and tracks there.
Most of the tracks and fossils are near the river that runs through the park. It was a nice day, so many of the people at the park were in swim suits down in the water. We'll know for next time to bring swim suits! (Yes, I look VERY pregnant and ready to pop here! I was hoping walking around the park would help stimulate baby girl...no such luck. It only served to make my cankles more prominent than ever!)
We brought the stroller, but Landon preferred to explore on foot. He had a blast running through the trails. (Mommy loved it because he was thoroughly tired by the end of the day and slept in late the next morning :)
"I'm a scary dinosaur!"
What a great day!
