Our family checked out the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History the other day, it was awesome! They had so many different sections and exhibits to check out. Here are Scott and Landon riding a "horse" trying to herd cattle into a pen in the Frontier section of the museum.
Landon and I went on a Dino Dig...
...we sifted through the desert and found a T-Rex femur!
They had what I call a "scary" section: tarantulas, snakes and scorpions. That's why Landon's checking it out with Daddy and not me!
Although I did go shopping in the Grocery Store with Landon. Unfortunately the shelves were pretty empty. There were a bunch of older girls there that had overflowing baskets! Leaving the little ones like Landon only an orange or two :) He didn't seem to mind though. He would have been happy pushing around an empty cart!
I built a large Popsicle stick tower...which Landon the Destroyer promptly demolished :)

The museum even had an outdoor water section. There were lots of little tables and pathways the kids could watch the water flow through. Since it was 105 degrees outside, most of the kids were just splashing themselves and those next to them!

All in all, it was a great day and a great way to have fun and beat the heat outside!
